I want something for hunting that I can tow with my Dodge 1500 (with the Hemi) but still haul my ATV.  Maybe a popup with the ATV rack on the front?  or a small travel trailer and my ATV in the back of the truck?

Hardsides, as in pop-ups?  Like the Flagstaff or Rockwood lines by Forest River?  Or more like the Jayco Jay Series Sport A-frames?

ETA: you'll probably run out of payload with a TT and an atv with a half ton though. There are some small half ton towable toy haulers out there though. Check out the Rubicons.

I love our 2013 Forest river Wildwood x-lite. Great little trailer. $13,000 out the door.

Ohhh!  That's nice!  I wonder if I can haul an ATV in my truck bed with the tailgate down at the same time.

You can, if you get a Class V (5) hitch with a 24” long cantilevered extension.  GVW allowing.  You will probably need “helper” springs with that much weight on the rear.  I used to put an 11’ Lance slide in camper in the back and tow an 84 VW race car (SCCA ITA class) on a flatbed trailer.  But, the truck was a Chevy 3500 (one ton duelly).  With the 11’ camper in an 8’ bed, I used a 48” extension., worked like a charm.

This guy is right. I cannot put my tailgate down all the way with my current hitch setup.

There are a couple RV Shows going on around me this time of year. I would go to a local show and look around. If you go to an RV lot you get a lot of pressure. The shows are very laid back. You really get a chance to check everything out. Getting the right floor plan for your needs is very important.
