Got an ee deal pending, so gonna hang until it's a done deal.
After that? So much crap around here lately, 12, 13, and 14 ers been laying on so much bullshit. Not the usual bullshit, but really perverted, sick, needs a load of Thorazine Bullshit. And it's not only them, there's a lot of sickness . So many very good people here, but it's over-run with stinking, filthy scum lately. Just don't have the energy to deal with it anymore. Can't sort through it, like gold in a mountain of quartz now.........

I've been here a but longer than you as I recall, but I haven't been on here every day since then. Heck, I've taken hiatuses of over a year, but normally it's a month or two. I cruise other forums when I'm not here (hunting, motorcycling, electrician trade forums, etc). Sometimes I'm just too wrapped up in the real world to check up on ma forums. Not the end of the world by any means. Sometimes arfcom just gets old. Sometimes I go through phases when guns and shooting just aren't interesting, and GD gets attacked by boring/stupid drama llamas. It happens.

I personally take grievance with the racism creep that's been going on since I joined. People say shit about blacks now that would have been a perma-ban when I joined, but I ain't about to leave the site forever over it. I don't see conservative black female around anymore, and if she is around, I applaud her for dealing with the bullshit.

Rather than bail out completely, take a break from GD.
Spend time in Team Clubhouse, BOTD, the technical forums, your hometown forums, etc. There's a ton of subforums here, each populated by different kinds of people. I spend a lot of time in the Reloading subforum, and everybody there is friendly and straight-up normal. In other words, get away from the insanity for a while.
