Ballast plates for large barges shipping down the Columbia.  3'x3' sheet approximately 1 inch thick.

Each one lasts me about oh, 2 years for CAS shooting.  Course it's like 500lbs of lead...

Over by the tire balancer.....

Back when I was a mechanic
Also shoveled up the ground behind the target stand at the local AmVets meat shoot. Lots of good lead there.

Here's some baitin' material. Each pallet is 1250 lbs of sweet sweet 4# lead sheet. Made in Murica.

I used to get it from the tire places, but they all now send it to the recyclers.

Used to get it from the recyclers, but now they won't sell to the public.

I do do some berm mining whenever I do go to public ranges but that doesn't get me a whole lot.

Never thought about the mall's.  May be a new source.

I mine the range berm for blasting lead and go to Rotometals for my black powder cartridge rifle lead.  (My BPCR lead must be 1 part tin and 30 parts lead for optimum performance in my rifle.)

I mine the berm at the shooting range.
