I had a flight with Michael Winslow once in the late '90s. I was seated next to him and we talked for a little bit. Nice guy.
He really is amazing. |
|
I remember watching these movies with my Dad when I was a kid, great memories because he laughed histerically at them
|
|
When I was a kid my dad had rented the first on vhs and my cousin and I were watching it on the tv.
My dad only had one cable box and vhs player and had hooked a splittler and ran a cable to his tv in the bedroom. When the topless scene happened at the beach I backed it up and paused it at the perfect shot. Then I heard a stern "boy" from his room where he and his GF were. Few seconds later he comes out and says "what r u doing" in a loud tone followed by a soft toned "good job boy" with a thumbs up. |

The first one was excellent, 2-4 were watchable. The rest were terrible.
Kim Catrall was hot as hell. Michael Winslow actually came to my dinky ass city a few years ago, He was funny as hell. |
|
Bobcat and Winslow are masters.
The "Hendrix scene" that Winslow does is unbelievable. That's the real sound track, too - it's not overdubbed or anything, he can/could really do that. |
|
Whats sad is how they made Guttenberg look. He was supposed to be the rebel, but man they made him look faggy lol.

The pool scene was the best, of course I was a 13 year old boy when I first saw it.

|
I have no idea on the heights thing but my guess would be no. It's never come up in conversation.
Our oldest is horrible with names-----I'm seriously surprised she remembers her own-----and she asks ALL the time, "Now what is his name again? The one in the movies?" He's their *Uncle Dub* but they also have an Uncle Doug from the other side of the family and she mixes them up constantly. We still tease her because when she was about 5 she was asking if we were going to visit her Uncle Doo, no her Uncle Doe, wait her Uncle Dot? She went through every bizarre thing in the world and never landed on the right one. Anyway, nice guy. Likes to spoil the kids and aside from that point is as different as night and day from his brother (my FIL who passed away last year). |

When I was in the academy it astonished me how few people had seen the film.

Worked as crew on PA 4. One of Sharon Stones earlier movies. Most of the cast and writers were hilarious with the exception of Stone and Guttenberg. Tim Kaserinsky (sp) and Goldthwait were the best.
The movie was actually pretty crappy but as second unit we got to work with some terrific pilots and stunt guys. Art Scholl aviation did the aerial stuff. We spent about 3 weeks filming what turned out to be about 8 minutes in the final cut. Ask the Rizzo guy if he remembers the scene with the hot air balloon he was in. I do. |
