Current dedicated rifle and all future acquisitions will have black aluminum bits and fde accessories where appropriate. Old ar/beater rifle still has all black furniture, if I feel adventurous I may cerakote fde in the future..

Plus, to me some rifles look better with color. For instance, the FN SCAR looks perfect in FDE. |

I live in the Mojave Desert. Black stuff gets hot out in the sun most of the year, so most of my rifles get black furniture swapped out.

The one good thing about keeping it all one color, is that it makes switching parts easy.
Get every color and a couple bins of extra parts. 
I'm actually trending back toward simple black these days. |

All of my AR's are painted FDE and brown grass pattern. I hunt with them all the time though. Black is ok but it just doesn't do it for me it sticks out way to much.

I have mostly black. Besides black, I have one AR Pistol in FDE, a Larue PredatAR in OD, and the Rainier Frankenbuild below. I have a set of Stealth Gray furniture for a SBR build (waiting for the stamp)...

I took a few ARs to a gun show during the last panic. The rifles with OD, FDE, and camo on them sold instantly. The black ones were the last to sell.
