Eats a disproportionate amount of data.  Also ads annoy me.

Same here on iPhone 5, screen is a bit small but that's not the sites fault. Same on my Nexus 7 tablet.

Your phone, perhaps?

I use mobile when  I'm at work because I have extreme bandwidth limitations.  There is room for improvement, but I'm happy with it.  Of course, I'm also using it on a desktop with a large screen...

Maybe after you buy a decent data plan you could pitch for ad free membership.

As comparison, I browse CalGuns.net and it has an iPhone version that's easy to read, easy to navigate, and all the buttons are easy to reach and click.
I can't say the same about the Mobile version here.

I use the mobile site when I'm using my blackberry, otherwise I have problems with the regular site.

It takes a little getting used to. Now I didn't mind it all.

When I do that, the buttons at the top are tiny (i.e. active topics, newest, search) etc. so you have to zoom in to use them.  And word wrap doesn't work so it makes it clumsy to read by having to scroll back and forth.

I dunno, I can manipulate the buttons and zoom in and out so easily it is not even a concern with me. What phone/OS are you running? It works great on my Samsung Galaxy.

I hate having to zoom in and scroll side to side on the mobile site because pictures don't scale right.
That's pretty much my only gripe.
I use it at work mostly, because I work for a lib-tarded city that doesn't care if employees dick off on FB, youtube, or shop shoes all day, most of what I've witnessed others doing, but would probably be very interested in one that cruised a firearm related site.

You need to go to your phone settings under text size, or something like that.

I also use an Android to view the full site.

I spend a stupid amount of time on Arfcom, and I don't use the wifi at work because I prefer to browse off their network. My total internet data usage is in the 300mb range in a given month.

Full site is a PITA to read on mobile. Font sizes all over the place, having to scroll left and right for the tards that use massive url's. Mobile isn't very good though and I find it's less frustrating to use the full site on mobile, as bad as it is.

Full site works fine on my S4 with Chrome.  My only complaint is when a large picture or something kills the text-wrap, but that's pretty minor.

I surf arfcom full site on a four year old Android HTC Incredible, not problems whatsoever - I also use the mobile site but I really don't see any reason to do so.

Installing unauthorized programs on a .gov computer is a very bad idea.  That cure is worse than the disease.
