And so it begins - I bought this Jeep.
Which online forum is the best in terms of size and user technical commentary? I see there are several. Obligatory "before" photo; 
1976 CJ7 80k miles. 258 3 speed Engine starts and runs, frame seem to be in good shape. Body will meet Omix-Ada Corporation. Paid $800 Winter project. I plan on keeping it stock. |

I joined on several and found that Pirate 4x4 com to be the best for me
Pro’s 1.Has the most traffic = questions answered quickly 2.Easy to search and tons of the best info and builders Con’s 1. Heavy population of smart ass’s |

Just a heads up check your steering box mount.
Mine was basically stock and it had cracks all through it. |

Most of pirate is a DIY forum and a relatively advanced one. Also it's not much of a restoration forum, it more of a keep the grill and hood forum so I would stick to something else for keeping it stock. |

Yes true If you go in the hardcore jeep section and start asking how to set you’re timing they get all weird … stick to non hardcore jeep section for stock basic stuff and its not bad |
