Reading all these articles about how police in the UK don't want to be armed depsite rampant gun crime puzzles the crap out of me.

That is why gun crime is rising! The cops are unarmed and want to stay that way.

People in the UK are afraid that if they give their police Glocks and Smiths they might acutally enjoy carrying them.

Of course, because we all know that if they get their hands on a gun, they'll get the infamous "Thrill Of Power", and decide to go on a shooting rampage. [:P]
