This issue provides a good angle for correspondence with our beloved elected leaders, particularly the esteemed members of the Assembly and Senate Public Safety Committees.

Go to http://www.leginfo.ca.gov/bilinfo.html and do a keyword search for "firearms" - Presently Koretz's 50-caliber ban and SB35 (Scott's Ballistic Fingerprinting fiasco) are boiling up.

How can the legislature justify working on ANY other "public safety" issue when 33,000 known dangerous people are not accounted for?
