"Two Massachusetts cops forcibly entered a home, slapping a woman and trying to swipe a camera out of a man’s hands in a chaotic incident in which the man ended up dialing 911.
A risky move that could have easily escalated the armed home invasion..."

If they were there for a valid reason or complaint, I don't understand why they stood outside after the initial event like teenagers that had just got caught shoplifting skittles.

Was there an actual reason why they were there in the first place? I would assume there was, even if it was as simple as a noise complaint.

Trying to grab the camera was just plain stupid of him.

I know people that know the people in the video. Its strange because Wareham MA is a Cape Cod town. In fact its kind of the first town in Cape Cod and its not really a bustling metropolis. There isnt much crime to speak of out that way.

Interesting...

After the incident, Wareham Police shared the history of police calls made to the home. There have been 63 police visits over the past 14 years for a range of issues including domestic disturbance, welfare checks, and assault and battery.

good grief,  "63 cop visits to that house over last 14 years."    Go ahead and lock them up along with that cop.

What would you do if an officer committed a crime in front of you? Call 911? Quite the dilema. Still even if there were 60+ calls to the home doesn't mean they can do dat crap. Good thing they didn't have a dawg.

Not staties.

Those were local PD. Not that it makes it right, but I believe they've been called to that residence for issues 20+ times as well.

Pretty much - no idea  why the cop felt he needed to do that, but something tells me that the people in the video probably inspire that sort of response in others.
