When traffic is all backed up from everybody evacuating, all you have to do is lane split or ride along the shoulder.

It would also be easier to get around or through obstructions in the road as well.

What do you think?

Better is dual sport, on-off road combo.

You can't carry much tho.  Ok, if you already have a bugout hide stocked.

You know how in "Mad Max" the bikers were all pissed off?
Theres a reason for that.  Bikes need parts and tires all the time....

Range and weather are also issues. Riding a motorcycle in the winter is not fun.

Yeah I would think something like that or a Kawasaki KLR650 would be ideal.
