I'll have to get a sub before I can get a sub gun.

I might be able to afford something like this.

I have one or two sub guns,

Are you going to get a MAX31 from Lage for the a1?

And the Smith and Wession 76 is a great subgun. There are new production SW76 which are very close clones. And there are 760s too.

I have a M76a1 from South tool and die, and a Stemple 76/45 takes GG mags..

Built on Stemple registered tubes from prior to the 1986 ban.

There are others that make Suomi Clones, and Thompson clones, and others by Stemple I think..

All from tubes that were reg pre-86

I actually have one of the Soumi clones from BRP, it's an STG-76.  Heavy as hell, but it sure is fun!
BRPGuns STG-76
They also make a Tommy conversion for a Stemple tube that is pretty slick...full auto only though.

I probably will get a Lage upper for it since I'm stacked deep on 9mm and don't really like the thought of having to stock up on .380! It has the SWD can for it, a carbine upper and a .22 upper for it as well.

Can't wait to go rip through some .22 in it!

I'll have to disagree on that. My UMP 40 wasn't half the gun my MP5 is. They may look cool, but in my opinion they don't come close to a MP5.

I was issued a sub-gun for much of my time in the army.  First when I was a platoon sergeant, and then later when I became an officer and a platoon commander.

It was the Husqvarna m/49 - a variant on the Swedish M45B (what's often called the "Swedish K" in the U.S.), built under license for the Danish military.

the M45 is a thing of beauty to use.

if i had the finances of the average ARFcommer , i'd have two of them.

No you don't, I would take a P90 over one of these any day of the week. I have shot both and the P90 is far nicer weapon in IMO other than the cost of ammo. The real bonus to the above comes from full auto fire, otherwise the fancy recoil system really makes a 45 ACP feel no worse than any other PCC.

Does it have the metal or plasic mags?

And yes, 22 is stupid fun. My Mac 10/9 with Uzi mag well never Really ran too well.

But my Vector .22 kit with my Vector 4332 Uzi, Vector Mags runs 99.9% amazing.

MP5 if I had the money.

Uzi I would go since there are different caliber kits floating out there.

Then again, you got the AR pistol caliber platforms, tavor 9mm and aug 9mm kits too.

I've got a PS/RPB double stamp M10/9mm in jail right now.  ATF indicates a March 2015 release date.

I went with the M10/9mm over the M11/9 due to a bulkier receiver.  While I've never heard of it being an advantage over the M11/9, I wanted as "bullet-proof" of a MAC as I could get.  It is unlikely-- especially with today's prices-- that I'll be getting another MG.

Still, all of the "goodies" that I want to upgrade the SMG are available for the M10/9mm.  I miss out on the MAX-31 upper, and that is about the only thing.  I'll be getting a Lage Mk2 upper over this next year, and a Lage collapsible stock.  I had intended to do an Uzi grip conversion through Practical Solutions, but I have instead chosen to start modifying Suomi 36 round stick magazines to work in the gun.  That's my project to work on until the stamp gets back.

I'll eventually suppress it.  I am leaning towards the Thompson Machine SG2.
