Very nice!

Now ditch the straight stock for  one with some grip and it will be perfect.

I really like matte hard chrome as a finish. It's still one of the best finishes there is if you don't mind the shine. Purty rifle.

Sir your rifle actually gave me an erection. It may last more than 4 hours in which case I am fucked

Do not listen to this man. I have a pistol grip stock on mine and long for a straight stock.  Purdy gun!

Love the straight stock, so that is staying.

I had it bead blasted prior to plating so no shine.  Nice dull aged nickel look to my eyes.

$225 included bead blast and front sight install shipping backand he comped me on the 3" 44 Mag  Dan Wesson Barrel assembly I had sent to from EWK.  Ron has been plating guns for me for 25 years great guy that does great work.

Damn good suggestion...that will be the next purchase....wait I do have this in stainless but it is gosh mixing stainless and H/C and different calibers 454/45 ACP defeats the cowboy concept of ammo commonality:

Very nice, looks great!

I want a .45 Colt lever gun to get into cowboy action shooting. Just have a .30-30 lever-action deer gun now. I still dump rounds with it now and again.

My lever guns go to the range too!  Not as much as the semis but they do get exercised.

That is beautiful, but I'm afraid if I had that much work done on a rifle, I might not ever take it outdoors again.

I wonder what he could do with this 4" Colt Python with a horrendous bubbafied bluing attempt that I bought a few years ago...

Had this done by Ron about 20yrs ago. Need to take a better pic.

Dead is forever, I use and enjoy my stuff while alive,  Your Python will look brand new. My DW  up the thread was originally blued and I wore the bluing off between shooting and holsters.  Gun came back and when my friends saw it they were astounded and sent guns for plating.

It always makes me sad when I see really old guns that are not factory Nickel plated and people bad on them without realizing that the entire reason that gun is plated was because the owner used the piss out of it and cared for it.

I don't usually like stainless, but that is a great looking gun. Looks like it has never been shot.

I like the bead blast H/C as it has amore gray in lieu of silver tone  of stainless.

Ahhhh shit I like that. I was looking for something like that I saw a couple years ago with rainbow laminate furniture.
