OK guys...I am trying to remember if Crocket died in Miami Vice. I remember watching the series with my dad as a kid and I thought he was on a boat that blew up??? I have tried googling this and can't find anything.
I have no idea why this is bothering me but now I need to know!

No. At the end of the final episode Tubbs says he's going back to NY and Sonny say's something about going further south and getting out of law enforcement.

Thats one of the last story arcs; he's undercover and someone blows up the yacht he is on with some dealers. I cant remember if its the end of the next to last season or what, but the explosion causes amnesia and he spends much of the last season thinking he actually is Sonny Burnett (drug runner) while vice thinks initially he's dead. He doesnt die at the end of the series he rides off on a harley.

He did die once, but came back to life. It was magic. He shot a bad guy and bad guys crazy bitch picked up the gun that said bad guy dropped when Sunny shot him. Crazy bitch shot Sunny and killed him...... But like I said, he came back to life. Magic. |

Crockett went to prison after turning States evidence.
He pled to life without to avoid the death penalty for multiple murders committed as "Burnett" The law does not recognize "amnesia" as a defense. Much less give you back your badge.    |
