If not, it should be. Love us or hate us, the United States is unrivaled when it comes to design and production of weapons, parts, and accessories. It makes a lot more sense to use or copy our stuff than to create your own at this point.

NATO now has the NATO Accessory Rail (NAR), which is very close to the Picatinny, but supposedly better. Is this the standard around the world? Other than NATO countries, which includes us, who has adopted it? What about China? Russia?
