Amazing that there were no airliner crashes last year. So far 19 dead and climbing.

I flew on a Beech 1900D two days ago. Not a pleasant aircraft to fly in. Not even as large as a small bus. I wouldn't have much confidence in the safety features of such an aircraft. Any crash at all would probably kill all occupants.

I am about 1/2 mile from the CLT airport. Here at work the planes come in and I can see the oil stains they are so low.

Regarding your comments on the safety features of the Beech 1900D: No, it is not the most comfortable for passengers, but it is a very tried and true airframe and is very, very well powered. I know, I flew this airplane for this airline. - Checknsix |
