Title says it.  Found a truck in a forum.  Talked to the owner and I'm working out a shipping quote (truck is too far for me to go bring back with a trailer).

What's a good way to arrange payment that won't put buyer or seller at risk?  Not that we don't trust each other, but I don't want to risk losing my money and he doesn't want to lose a truck.  I was thinking a bank-to-bank transfer of funds into an established bank account, but I still have to trust the guy to load the truck and send the title with the vehicle when the shipping company arrives.

(I posted last week about hiring transport service, getting quotes from several shippers with excellent ratings.)

Find an Arfcom member you trust in the AO of the seller. Have that person deliver payment upon receipt of title. Buy the Arfcom member a steak dinner or a case of ammo.
