I got a basketball goal with rim, backboard and pole from my brother-in-law last night.  Since it was used, it didn't come with any installation instructions.

The backboard is adjustable and once installed, I'll adjust it for my son's age group (8 years old).

My question is:  what depth to I put the pole in order to make the rim the correct height?  I'd assume that I would put the rim at its highest adjustment (i.e. professional height) and then install the pole accordingly.  But what's the correct height measurement?

Can the AR15.com army help?

Thanks,

Merlin
