"Nearly 3 million people in the state of New York currently reside here and make New York their home, but can't fully participate in civic, political, and economic life," Rivera, a Democrat who represents the Bronx in New York City, said in a telephone interview. As to the part in red: Nor should they participate in it if here illegally. |

No surprise This question has been asked time and time again, but at what point is enough finally enough? These shit heads continue to wipe their ass with the constitution and yet they are not only tolerated, but celebrated? Where's the reset button, exactly? Many people look at the constitution as a burden. The fact is, there is a large segment of Americans that believe we don't need it, since we are America, Land of the Free Home of the Brave nothing bad could ever happen here, and that all the abuse of power that is reported is nothing but Republican lies. Then you have people that know exactly what they are doing, but figure since they are one of the "good guys" politically speaking, the wrath of an unrestricted, all powerful government will only be felt by people they hate. ETA: I know people in group one, they tend to be okay, albeit very naive. I also have run across people in the latter group. And trust me, they do hate you. |

It is obviously clear attempting to vote out corruption in our government is like voting out water from a sinking ship. Something has got to give. Maybe secession of states is the only solution left, but we know how well that turned out last time. Personally, I think that quiet Balkanization is the only answer left, everything else will result in mass bloodshed. |

I'd guess that there are 3 million illegals in each of the large cities of this country. The 50 largest, at least.
|
|
|
There is 8.3 million people in NYC including the burrows. And 50% of NYCers are on subsistence support.
I am thinking most of his 3 million are in the 8.3 x 0.5 = 4.15 million people = FSAers. |

Why stop them from voting just because they are living in another country?
People living all over the world deserve a say in what happens in the USA. |

No, even Balkanization will eventually lead to bloodshed because people here will get tired of paying for people there. But it won't happen for a while. As long as you can fill your belly with food and get reasonably entertained, it's hard to convince yourself to pick up a rifle. |

Fuck that guy. I bet he is BFF's with that broken English speaking Ruben Diaz.
For those that don't know, Diaz voted yes to the SafeAct after admitting it will do nothing to curb violence because "dis eeze ah democrateec beel". Fuck them both and the rafts they rode in on. |

This would only be perfect if we could cut NY state off from federal funds. ( sorry NY members)
Fine! You want to take in 2m refugees and let them vote, go ahead. Let me know how that works out for you. Do whatever the hell you like with them now that you are bribing businesses to come to your failing state with differed taxes for ten years and unemployment through the roof. AS LONG AS I DONT HAVE TO PAY FOR YOUR STUPID IDEAS. I so wish that was the way it worked...... |

I sense that it won't fly. There was already a back lash over giving inmates free tuition here. That tone will carry over into this.

The Bronx is an absolute cesspool. People talk shit about hoping California falls into the sea...pay a visit to The Bronx someday and your priorities will change very quickly...picture an absolute cesspool of crime, drugs, dependency, illiteracy, thug culture, socialism, disease, multi generational welfare as the norm, absolute absence of work ethic of any kind, filth...and you have The Bronx. The place is a modern day, true to life Sodom and Gomorrah rolled into one.
I grew up there, but my proud, Irish American, working class neighborhood no longer exists. The filth absorbed it long ago . |

Some group ran a pro immigration ad aka amnesty ad yesterday.
They talk about how there are 11 million here and how conservatives are for fixing our system. They talk about how it would take years for us to deport them and cost 300 billion to do so and how that is just not practical. (love to know where they got that figure) They talk about how deporting them would hurt our economy as they are contributing and how it would destroy families (zoom in on little kid being held by Mom). It sickens me that anyone, especially elected officials who swore an oath think breaking our laws is irrelevant and that they should be allowed to stay. Yes it took decades for 11 million to come, so if it take years to find them and boot or have them self deport them I am fine with that. What do these 11 million illegals cost the US taxpayer annually because I think 300 billion will be a small price to pay in the long run. Why doesn't some conservative have to balls to stand up and put a real number to what illegals cost us. The pro illegal front tries to make anyone who is against amnesty out to be a racist or uncaring. So why doesn't someone of the right lay it out for the fence sitters that illegals are taking from them, their kids, our future. Someone needs to take the gloves off as this is not a war we can lose. |

I am all for states enforcing their own immigration policies since the Feds can't be bothered to do it. Minus a few sanctuaries, the illegals would find that it's better to go home.

LOL NYC would bus them out to other cities, and then bus them back in for elections

Unless you're gonna pull politicians out of their homes in the middle of the night donning their pajamas, just suck it up. Either out vote them or shut it, that's all you'll do so face that reality.
