A co-worker said NPR is not a liberal radio station and it's just the news. Then he added just like CNN. I went and walked away.

That guy must really be a left wing, red commie, if he thinks NPR is center.

So fucking liberal Juan Williams was fired for being a conservative.

That person probably thinks feels that stalin was a moderate.

Hell yes they are biased left. Any random acts of journalism that they commit are accidental, otherwise they exist only to advance a particular narrative. |

How can this even possibly be a question? Liberal as they come.

I listen to NPR 2 hours day.
It is completely liberal in everyway. Dianne Reem, Terry Gross, etc. All professing liberals. |

I turn on Sirius left sometimes. I can't listen for more than 5 minutes before my head explodes.

In 2008, I was interviewed as a guest on Radio Times. The host (Marty Moss Coane) and producers were nice. They were definately dirty hippies though.
I was pretty scathing of the Iraq War protestors and was as contemptuous of them in my language as I sometimes am here in GD. I was adamant on the point that you cannot "support the troops" while simultaneously agitating for their defeat (i.e., support the troops but not the war!). ETA: And that's what I said, that they were "agitating for our defeat in Iraq." It was funny. They actually stopped taking calls (I think they let one or two through) because all the callers were raging libtards who wanted to call me whatever the 00's equivalent of "baby killer" was. (It was August 08 before zero was elected and the Orgasmatron for the potential first black president was in full swing). Ahhhh. Good times. |

All things considered...
yes they are liberal, socialist anti God, anti Gun propagandists. |

They have come out and flat out stated they have a left wing bias. It's not anything that's up for debate it's just how they are.

I think NPR's various local affiliates can be not quite as slanted as others, but their main national programming is definitely heavily tilted to the left.
The thing that gets me about NPR is no matter where you go, what town you are in, ALL of the affiliates have the same fucking smug delivery. Its like this rarefied combination of "better than you" and "stick up our ass" with a wisp of east coast blue blood limousine liberal guilt for flavor. |

I knew a guy that called it corporate news network. he is a typical leftist hypocrite. Favored really high taxes on the evil rich. Until the day he inherited a few millions from his Dad. Then he didn't want to share anymore. |

I enjoy their news programs, but they are definitely leaning way to the left. As long as you know this going in, it's easy to look past the Left's talking points.

I think they lost 2 CEOs recently, one for firing ThoughtCrime criminal Juan Williams. I think the other one got sacked for something related to her liberal bias getting exposed.

View Quote The potential for getting defunded a few years back has moderated them somewhat. The CNN comparison is apt. They're on about the same level. They're commies, but they're not MSNBC-level commies. |

I like On the Media and used to listen to one or two other NPR programs.

Top Tier Propaganda.

There's a reason people refer to it as National People's Radio.

Just another taxpayer-subsidized propaganda machine for the DNC and Progressive agenda

Does matter, it's not the job of the government to partially fund it either way.

I find myself listening frequently. I like their monotone voices while driving. I get mad and turn my rage toward the radio vs. road rage. I also like seeing how liberal they can go. I sometimes play a game and try to remember the most liberal sentence I've heard on the car ride. It really is difficult because it changes every minute.
