I have a Sidearmor IWB holster and two ankle rigs, Uncle Mikes, and Fobus. I prefer the Uncle Mikes, it holds the pistol with better stability.

Any suggestions?

I have a G27 as my carry weapon. I would never use an ankle holster, it would be too hard to get at in a stress situation, I have always just used a Galco leather hip holster, I don't like kydex or any kind of plastic.

Not 100% sure about weather conditions, but can almost be assured that while outdoors I will be wearing some form of jacket and or sweatshirt.

There was snow there a few weeks ago, but with the weather being so warm lately, not sure whats up there now.

I agree with Wolfpack. Reaching for an ankle rig in a stress scenario is something I've never been comfortable with. I'd probably wear the the IWB. Easier access in the event you need it and well concealed with a jacket or sweatshirt.
