The article indicated that the poor beast was hit by a train and was flung over the pole by the force of the impact.

I thought it was a kangaroo until I saw the white tail. Man, I also thought that deer landed up there because an eagle forced it off a cliff.

Dead? No, it's just napping on the top of a telephone pole with severed rear hooves.

A statement and a question...

It's in remarkably good shape if it was hit by a train. Granted, it's dead, but I'd expect it to look like beef stew on the top of the pole. Good genes I guess.

RBAD....why the sad face at the end of your post? At least it died quickly. Can't even imagine how many deer slump off in to the woods after a shitty shot from a hunters rifle only to die an agonizingly slow death. Now that's sad.

Like death by auto, and killing humans too. Or dying of starvation slow and disease ridden?

A LOT FEWER than our anti-hunting/gun enemies try to propagandize the public into believing.  [furious]

Mike, I don't think your .50 would put it up there, but would it knock it down?

Strange, her feet are missing. And I wouldn't like to try & get it down. That telco open wire can carry lots of volts & amps ... enough to light up your life.
