If it's a slow night and the thought of Vin Diesel trying to play James Bond interests you go for it. Otherwise, pass.

If you're looking for realism, don't watch it. If you want to see sh*t blown up and watch impressive stunts - this is right up your alley.

I'd rather insert a glass rod in my tallywhacker and then whack it against a brick wall than have to ever watch that movie again.
They are all lying to you. It is not a decent movie. The chick does not make it worth the rental price. It is not like Fast and the Furious. It's worse. Much worse. |

I enjoyed it - it was very funny. Rediculous and cheesy in many aspects, from the stunts to the dialogue. In this way, it reminded me of Starship Troopers, another funny movie.

Haven't seen it myself, but...
Just got a call from a customer today asking what type of revolver was used in the movie. (I am told they used Lasergrips) He's going to have a custom revolver made just like it. -Z |

Bad acting, bad plot, bad writing. but...lots of things that go boom. I tried not to like it, but I did.

Yeah, it was dumb. But a lot of great stunts, and big booms. Only part I wanted to watch/pause was the nipple peeking out of chicky-babe's grey shirt near the end. Not exactly "XXX" but hell, I'd hit it.

I thought it was bad enough to be funny. If you have a sense of humor for over the top action movies it's amusing-I was rolling through all the bad dialogue. It's a bad movie, but funny like the old campy Batman TV show. There was some amusing stunts and some ARs
Also an AR in "Bloodwork" which was supposed to be a "real" movie and the plot was pretty obvious within a few minutes but Clint's 8 shot S&W Revolver (a performance modified model?) was pretty cool. |

I really enjoy the movie but then I don't pay all that much attention to the plot and like all that bullshit sureal action. I enjoyed identifying the bad guys guns and the fast cars and the slutty chicks gave me evil thoughts. It's a James Bond/Fast & Furious combo. If you don't like either, you won't like this.
It has no social redeeming qualities, no character developement, and no hot love story. In other words, not a chick flick unless they are hot for Vin. |
