I think it was three weeks for me to get my original. It took 2.5 weeks about two months ago to get my amended license. 10 weeks sounds a little excessive to me.

Mine took slightly less than four weeks.  I understand that the swiftness of issuance depends on the state you live in.  (Different groups of states are handled by different ATF employees.)

Mine took right around four weeks to get to me, plus another week for the "amended" license (they spelled my street name wrong on the first one).

I've never heard of any set amount of time they have to process your application.  Give the Licensing Center a call and see what's up.

Mine took around eight weeks (and yes, they cashed the check within days of my mailing it).  My welcome packet took a couple of months after my license to arrive.
