[blue] You all a very nice collection of weapons .
Hey Juggernaut For a 20 year old you sure gotta lot a guns . Hey RBad What kind of safe is that in your last picture ? Looks small but roomy . [/blue] |
|
It's a rather tiny Gardall/Bulldog safe.
(I needed something small to fit in the bedroom closet) It's our only non-firelined safe, and the only one that I put an electronic lock on... (gotta watch the whole "EMP" thing. [;)]) |
|
Quoted: It's a rather tiny Gardall/Bulldog safe. View Quote I was just looking over the Gardall web site, for what you get they seem to be expensive. Why is that ? The smallest 61" tall was over $1000 with no fire protection . I was thinking more like around $400 or $500 for one . So much for that one. I thought I found what I've been looking for in that bulldog for the bedroom.(but not at that kind of loot) I'll continue my search. Thanks for the infor though. [/blue] |
|
The Gardall is not a great safe by any means...
The only reason we bought it was due to the fact that we had very limited room. I'd recommend a Liberty or Amsec (American Security) model if you have the room ! Here's our Amsec "Armory" safe: AND.... Here is our Liberty: |

Well I don't have near the collection that some of these junkies do, but I will take some pics and post them tomorrow.

I worked really hard turning tricks for Goatboy... see what happens when you have a strong work ethic?
This is a large part of my collection... some of my rifles are on loan and I don't have them in the pics. WOW!! very nice guys. i am extremely jealous.
HiramRanger, is that a factory mag on the glock 27? did you add some kind of extension or something? price? i was just looking at one of those today and my damn pinky finger wouldnt fit on the grip. the extension would work great. what do you think about that gun overall? i dont want to get into the whole 'glock' arguments but am curious of your opinion. thanks. |
|
Durk, it is a deep concealment carry gun... accuracy is so so... good enough for close quarter engagements. Suffers from a short sight radius and a short barrel... But for within 25 yards it does its job and does it well.
That is a Scherer grip extension, available in pretty much any gun shop or on ebay cheap. |

View Quote thats why im interested in it. the fact it is so small and still packs a punch. im a smaller guy and i cant confortably conceal the fullsize guns but i still would like a larger caliber. |

Quoted: Yo Maynard, who did the flames on that rifle? View Quote My nephew painted it. It's the original M12 stock with a few mods. I plan on having him paint the first rifle a metallic silver with deep red metallic flames. I just have to get off my butt and sand it. |

Hey Frank,
What kind of gun is that ? |

Grock, Hiriam, how do you guys like the Kobra sights on your AKs? I've just ordered one for a SAR-2 I recently acquired. I ordered the latest model with the military hood, it's called EKP-8-02M. This one:
http://tantal.kalashnikov.guns.ru/image1/ekp-8M01.JPG What do you think of them? |
|
Quoted: Hey Frank, What kind of gun is that ? View Quote It's a Thunder-Five, as it says across the top. It was, uh, "featured" in the Desert Storm-based movie The Three Kings. As pictured, it shoots .45 Long Colt or .410 shotgun shells. -Troy |
|
Duke, its no aimpoint... but for the money as a plinker sight its hard to beat.
|
|
On the one hand, I feel better since I know I'm not over doing it with my gun collection.
On the other hand, I feel much worse because I need so many more guns!!! |
|
Ok, we are still missing a few mods here. Hint hint.
Was hoping we'd see some of GB and Mr. Avila's favorites posted. [;)] |

She wholeheartedly agreed to do them, but she's been a little under the weather the past couple of days. Hopefully she'll feel better in a day or so. Tomorrow we're going to the indoor range here in Cincinnati, so maybe we can get some action shots of her with the XD-9.
