I don't know why - been married for 13 years now, and last year we had sex all of about 10-12 times total for the entire year.

And yet, so far since 1/1/03 I've gotten laid 4 times! I can't figure it out. Nothing has really changed other than me deciding (after my 4th job loss in a year) to go back to school full time in the Fall of 2003. Oh, we also started playing RPGs again after a 2 year hiatus.

NOT that I'm complaining, mind you - just trying to figure out WTF?

I can think of several reasons.

1) Is she reaching her 30s?
Woman reaches sexual peak in her 30s.
Thats when she wants more and more.

2) With you being unemployed (less physical exhaustion, less stress, etc.) maybe you are more sensitive to her needs and more
romantic. I met a girl when I was unemployed.
I overwhelmed her being so romantic and sensitive and I was getting 3, 4 or 5 times a day. Guess what happened when I found the job? She left me for another man. Doh!

Anyhow, keep us posted. We would like to hear from you at end of June to see how you did this year. JUST KIDDING!

This must be a joke.The question you must ask yourself is why haven't you been giving it to each other that much? Then you might find the answer to why are are getting so much recently.

If you're over 40, she may be trying to give you a heart attack so she can collect the insurance.

If you're under 40, well...maybe the batteries went dead that weekend.

Women don't "peak" they reach the plateau in their 30's and that demand stays well into their early 40's (so far). There will be days that you feel like Al Bundy "we just did it last month". hahaha You young guys ought to marry older women to take advantage of your testosterone load.

I feel the women sex drive studies are bullshit. I've been waiting 30 years for my wifes to catch up with mine and have given up. Of course the only time I don't want it is when I'm eating and then sometimes. LOL

Don't question your wife's motives. Just enjoy it while it lasts and try to figure out a way to keep it going. Let her see that you are happier this way and try to bring some romance back into the marriage.

Well, I just got back from a nice 2 night weekend stay in Myrtle Beach - and we are now up to 6 times this year! Once a day so far, this is amazing. Actually, I talked to my wife about this and she said that for the first time in a long time she feels relaxed, not worried about money, jobs, the future, etc. and can finally start enjoying certain things again. Hey, no complaints here :)
