If I was to throw a brick or a rock through the window of an office, how much trouble could I get into?

Would it be a midemeanor act of vandalism, or a felony?

How much might I be expected to pay in fines?

Suppose it was an office of a politician or political party?

Suppose there was something written on the brick or rock, like "Second Amandment" Or "Assault Weapons Ban"?

What would be the consequences for individuals waging a "window war"?

This is just a hypothetical question. However, I did just happen to receive a windfall of a large number of bricks.

Well, if you don't get caught, it's just an unsolved act of vandalism.

Hey Thug,

I like your attitude.  If God gives you lemons, just make lemonade.  [;)]

Depending on the laws in your state it could easily rise to the level of a felony if the window was expensive enough. I don't know where there is hypothetical window is, but if caught I'd lean toward-weekend in jail, bailed/released on monday, charged with felony plead down to misdemeanor (if this is not the politcial party in control of the area and we are talking only one window) restitution maybe 6 months of weekends in jail, about 3 years probation and name change to CivilianThug.

They would also make good shooting bricks!!
Nothing like pulverizing bricks with an AR15 & turning them into red dust!!!
