If so, I just watched a special on the school on the discovery channel. I've got a couple of questions about the class.

I did not, but I had two guys in my last unit that did. I talked with them quite a bit, I might be able to help you. Feel free to email me. They went through in the late 80's and early 90's, so things might have changed a bit, this was the Army school, not the Marine course.

What kind of scope was on their bolt rifles? It was huge.

That was the AN/PVS-10. It's a combo day/night telescope.
