Want to re-do bathroom-I dont want to f-with real tile and cement sub floor and other BS.  I have heard that laminate flooring may not the best in bathrooms (seepage into seams and edge may ruin it)

Any Ideas? Any experience?

I would not use it in a bathroom.  Any water gets underneith it and you will be redoing it again.  The first time someone get any decent amount of water on it from the shower or bathtub or maybe a leaky sink or toilet and its all over! YMMV

I'm no expert, but seeing as Pergo is not real wood, it may tend to swell like particleboard if it gets wet. Real wood would likely be more resistant to that.

OTOH, I don't hear of Pergo causing such problems in kitchens or entryways, where moisture is also an issue.

If this didn't help at all, I apologize.

Pergo won't swell when it gets wet but hardwood doesn't look good with water spots.

I wouldn't do it, for all of the above reasons, plus a friend of mine did it and it looks like shit.
If you're going to re-floor the bathroom, do yourself a favor and take out the shitter, and any pedestal sinks before you start.  I am so tired of seeing shitty tile work just to avoid these simply tasks.

Thanks for the advice- I will be taking out the shitter and vanity before any flooring (for norman).  I just am maybe trying to avoing the inevitable real tile job=pain in the ass or 2. vinyl floorin again=not as classy.
