Honestly, Iraq needs to have its ass kicked. I am not talking 1991 ass kicking, I am talking 1945 Hiroshima style. I don't know if Iraq has WMD but Saddam is really asking for a beating.
Forgive my lack of awareness, but can someone provide a link to the proof of WMD in Iraq, I would love to see it. No sarcasm, I just haven't found it yet and I am getting lazy [;)] On that note, N. Korea REALLY needs an ass-kicking of Roman proportions. Something that will be remembered for thousands of years. N. Korea is taking a page out of the USSR playbook -- take the world to the brink then blame the US ala missiles of October. We should pound them to the back to the stone-age. After we are done with that, pound them even further. When we are done with N. Korea, S. Korea should be an island nation. Didn't mean to hijack. |

A better question might be why not?
In 1991 the first President Bush was restrained by an agreement to not have Isreal get involved nor to remove Hussain else loose support from the Arab countries. If you remember your history we were on the side of the Iraqis against Iranians (hostages anyone?). Do you remember the daily count that the television news was running on how many days our citizens were kept illegally after the invasion of soveregn US territory? I remember spending two years across 48 months sailing off the coast of Yemmen on Gonzo Station as Iraq and Iran pounded the living shit out of each other, sending children though mine fields and into machinegun fire. Nether side was rational. The concern was with the Soviets backing Iran and them getting a larger toe hold into the mid-east. Winning the Cold War was worth many compromises we had to do with some not so kind people. You could also point out Kampuchia, Libya, The Phillipines, East Timor ... Let's just get it over with once and for all, take the gloves off and take out Saddam. Then point to the next trouble maker on the list and let them know we're coming to kick their asses next. |

Whky not? Looks like we will have to take on each and everyone of the Arab countries sooner or later. Might as well start with one we have an obvious beef with and the others don't like much.
I'm not over 9/11 and won't be till I get justice or non-liberal-approved retribution. By the way, no one told me that shit was bad when every preschool kid in America had their arm pricked. Itched, but I didn't die, I think. |

Answer: The press never talks about it, so we don't wonder about it. We're too busy thinking about Iraq, and the WMD's there is NO evidence they have. Well, guess wussya's agiprop corps gets their bonuses-nobody can post one legitimate rational 'reason' to mess with some 3rd world sandnXXXXr-BUT willing, and positively jingoistic, about sending someone's kids to 'kick his ass'. How come the chickenhawks always outnumber the the real fighters?
