Thanks Spectre... I love the 5.45 round... I have a Campy Clone SAR2, a Romak2, the Krink and a 74 being built by Inrange.
Now I just need an AR upper chambered in .21 Genghis... 5.45x39. |

Just put a deposit on an M1A. $940, doesn't look like it's been fired. Even has the bayonet lug and hooded rear sight. Can't wait to get it so I can paint the stock WHITE. Gerry |

the 6" sight radius is a joke. a longslide 1911 will do ya better.
an aks-74u krinkov is not about aimed fire! in full auto, the 5.45 and gas booster amount to "minute of washing machine" accuracy at 100 yards...and tons of fun dumping 30 rounds at 750 rpm. the commies advertise a maximum target engagement range of 500m. i ran out out gas at about 250m..just couldn't hit shit. the krink is THE most fun ammo burner to come down the pike in years. a handy man can assemble one for about $500. store bought versions run $800-900. add $200 to sbr it and you have a very short toy, indeed. hint: don't even think of building a 7.62x39 variant. it will hammer the daylights out of your shoulder (first m43 round gun i'ld ever say that about!). |

The way I look at it is this, I have $750 into my M1A set up. 12 20 round USGI mags - $450 M1A scope mount and rings - $50 Sparrowhawk WHITE stock - $70 Sling - $25 Hardcase rifle came in - $20 That's about $615... So my Norinco M1A ran me around $135! |

Nahhhhh, I'm a lilly livered coward and sell-out to the man... I think I'll leave it as manufactured... no exotic modifications for me.
Gerry, I have a dozen mag rule per rifle... when I get my second M1A that means another dozen mags... so I'm at bare minimum allowed limits as it is now. |

Hotrod, one of the Russian equipment rails can be put on and then you can use a Kobra, etc. I wonder why ORF did not include these in their builds... [:(]

The 7.62 Krink will beat the shit out of you...
AOW and ABR can be a pain in the ass to get in some places. Besides, I bought this Krink from a dealer on the board. He supports ARFCOM, I support him. Thanks Me223! |

it's a looker. I think Campy has a point here. The AKSU-74 is meant to be a full-auto weapon for very short range engagements. Not trying to hit a gong at 200 yards.
