In a parking lot at 0530.
Next to my slightly smashed Tiger 800.
Rear ended at a red light. She was Fucking with her phone, thought she saw green, so she went. Light was still red.
1500 miles and 45 days is how long I've had it. Yeah, I'm pissed.

Dayum, Bro.

Not a cool story, that sucks the big one.

Sorry, but at least you sound as if you are unscathed, and trust me, that is really the important thing.

Glad you are ok.  I have been rear ended while on my bike.  Not a fun feeling.  I wanted to kill the woman.

Same here.  Read ended by a bitch on a cellphone.  Pissed off would have been an understatement.

Glad you're ok. How much damage?
Nice bike.

Got the bike home. Seemed to ride OK.
We were both siting still, then she hit the go pedal. Thankfully. Not much damage. Looks like only the license platearea, and minor scuffs on left side of bike where it went down. I'm going to be iving a very thorough visual inspection. So far I see the bars appear to be tweaked slightly left. Gonna see if they'll straighten by loosening the clamps. Hopefully it stays that way.

At the very least USAA will be buying anew helmet, as my beloved XD3 did hit the ground.

Neck is sore, to be expected.

Did it run very long on its side or stall right away?
If it continued to run before you could get it shut down you might want to think about talking with folks who know those bikes or engine design.
Some bikes don't tolerate that very well, oil starvation issues.
Reading some threads on my ZRX forums I know that my bike is one that can have issues if its on its side for very long and running.
The signs may not show for awhile, I would give the dealer a call and get their opinion if that was a possibility at all.
Glad you are Ok!

She has USAA. Claim filed. Gotta go get an estimate on the bike, Send picture of helmet and website to get a new one. Hopefully they dont try to screw me on anything. I think they are going to. Might need to call my lawyer to send a letter.

Bike shut down almost instantly. Tigers have a tip over sensor that kills the engine just for this.

I had to leave the army because of an inattentive female driver. Broken hip, both ankles broke and a cracked L4 or 5 vertebra.

I'm one of the reasons some of you guys wear road guard vests and belts now.

Sorry for your ride.

I am certain that it wasn't 'you'.  Fairly sure it was the 'inattentive driver' that is the reason.

Sorry about your raw deal there, Bud...
