The Tevas I had self destructed pretty quickly.
I prefer my Keens and Chacos. The Chacos are lighter and cooler. The Keens are heavier, chunkier, and not as cool. They do offer more support and protection however. |

As a river guide in the summer we pretty much have to use teva's or chaco's. I personally love my chaco's as I can hike long distances in them and they will not get ripped of in rapids, But i will not wear them out of the river, makes me look like a stinky, eviro-weenie hippy
