i like it, what happened on the front end tho?
i think it would look sweet if you made it match the rest of the gun. |
Neat
That shouldnt compromise the integrity of the slide, will it? |
Not afraid messing with slide weight might affect functionality?
Just the pattern the CNC mill ran, visible but it's smooth as silk
It's your shit and you can do what you want with it, but it begs the question: why?

Tried a little slide milling. http://i.imgur.com/5reJl3sl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/kUB5JhPl.jpg Here it's on the gun, trying to decide whether to polish or finish to match the gun. http://i.imgur.com/uPMREIgl.jpg?1 http://i.imgur.com/QIR6P8Nl.jpg View Quote Now you can call it a GLOCK 40. |
It's a Open class gun, the other recess in the back is for a Burris FFlll
Doesn't affect reliability (springs will correct it ) does affect muzzle flip, does not compromise integerity |
Let's see......how can I make the worlds ugliest gun even uglier? I know, let me get out my soldering iron.
I knew it was going to be a 40. Should make nice shrapnel when it

Holy fucking shit. Is this the Glock equivalent of the dremelled flutes on the AR barrel thing??
You got a steady hand on that Dremel son, what else are you going to do with that pistol ?

dear God, the stippling.
I like the slide though. I would have used some cues from the factory cuts and radiuses though |

Lightening the slide reduces the mass and the weight. Bet the slide moves faster now than before. I would check the slide weight against that of sort barrel version of the same caliber. If it's just as heavy, it should be good to go.

That's the spirit!!!
It's a glock, for pete's sake...why not? (just don't shoot reloads through it...) I LIKE IT! |

I have a friend who can run his Infinity so fast the last case is coming out of the ejection port as the first one hits the ground. |

Do what you like
Your stippling job looks 100x better than mine |

CNC Mill =/= Dremel CNC mill = Dremel on steroids that would make Ahnold feel wimpy Kind of like the slots (would be nicer IMO w/o the lateral grooving), not too keen on the bevel on the front but hey - it's not mine. |

Another perfectly fine Glock, fucked up by a wanna be gunsmith.
