17 years married today, but we've been together for 26 years. (the wife forbids pictures so don't even ask, happy wife doesn't get half my stuff)!
Made in 1900 and so far still is keeping great time.    |

Just out of curiosity, but does one polish a watch like that? Or is it something that should simply be left alone like an old gun. I'd just have a hard time not buffing it.

Nice, I've got a couple Elgin watches. A 1903 B.W. Raymond (Railroad watch) and a 1910 commercial model. Forgot which one. The former keeps time to within about 30 seconds a week or better. The other one not so much. Neat pieces of hardware that are still ticking over 100 years later!
