with lights that intersection would be backed up for a mile in every direction.
there are a bunch of european towns which are removing all traffic signs and even lane markings and the results are consistently safer roads more aware drivers and less congestion |

If it were here in the US there would be a clusterfuck of traffic lights that you get to wait at for 5 minutes then it is green for your lane for 10 seconds.

First time I watched it... I focused on the vehicles (looks like a lot of public transportation and/or taxi services).
Second time I watched it... I focused on the pedestrians... fuck that! I didn't see very much bicycle or motorcycle traffic. |

Africa has it right guys! Every single country on that continent has almost 2x the auto fatalities compared to America (per 100k)

Oh, yeah? For 2 years, I drove in Phnom Penh, and didn't have a single accident, although I witnessed several fatalities
I lived 100m from the second video:
At least they drive better than Saudis!
