hehe don't be so quick to blow off the idea.
Several AR15.com'ers showed DU to their fencesitting friends, and the sight of who the Democrats truly are convinced the fencesitters to vote Republican.

You might be surprised to know that not all people that are commonly labeled as "liberals" are anti-gun. In fact, I personally know of two in my hometown. As for myself, I don't really care much for labels(less and less as I get older) as they are too often used as broad brushes that seldom really say how a person thinks on either the right or left. Labels are handy to keep people divided, though.
As for the Republicans, I often see their positions on gun control as "talk the talk" but not "walk the walk."

Nope, a liberal believes that others are responsible for them. That means someone else is responsible for their protection. A weapon is for self-protection. A toy is for hunting or plinking or collecting. Liberals may have toys, they never have weapons. And since they are only toys, they will willingly give those toys up for the greater good.
A liberal may have a gun, but they don't have a weapon. And a liberal will never admit that self-protection is a duty, rather an abnormality.
One thing in defense of the NRA, they did bring back the armed citizen after a brief hiatus. That pissed me off when they removed that section. The NRA focuses too much on the toy aspect of firearms and not on the weapon aspect.
The irony is that liberals, who depend on others for their defense, so hate the police and the military that actually provide that defense.
Liberalism is a disease of the illogical dreamer and pathetic mooch
