My sister loves her, and I have had the "experience" of listening to her music. It's pretty acoustic, then she jams, then she reads poetry, and then she puts some moral or political message in there that's just total bullshit.
1/2 truths and easy lies sell to a stupid public that doesn't pay attention to reality. which brings up papa roach... |

I read about Ani DiFranco, how she built up her career working outside the music business, thought she sounded pretty cool, decided to check out her music.
Uhhhhhhhhhh, not my bag. Except for maybe Leo Kottke, I hate the solo singer/songwriter/guitarist performer. Dan Bern, Ani DiFranco, Dar Williams, Greg Brown. Yech. You can have 'em. |
