Couple hundred yards. 6 steel pistol targets and 4 steel rifle targets. It's not exactly a big range since I only have a couple acres but it's right on the river.

We used to train north of town-a plot of land owned by the federal government and they had some big whitetails out there.

Palo Duro Canyon is beautiful country. I really liked the Panhandle, and I have many fond memories of Amarillo when I lived in the area.

You are thinking small. Dirt clods or Tannerite are all just as good as long as what's behind is safe. I get just as big a grin at 100yds as I do at 500yds or more.
