I've got a brother-in-law and a nephew with the day off.

I've got coffee in the thermos and I am ready to face the tundra.

Anything for my obsession.

i live in the part of ohio that still in the good old usa!

Back from the range... got some pics of the bro-in-law and nephew with his 10/22. He will be 8 in May and has been shooting with us for over a year now. I think his dad is going to put him in the rimfire league this spring and even get him started on Jr. CMP.

Since the scope base prevents effective use of the irons anyway, I'd highly recommend some MEDIUM-height rings instead of the extra-high ones. It will be much easier to use the scope that way.

possibly 'cause even kids are man enough to shoot a rimfire with only a stocking cap to protect them from that fierce roar.

looks like you had some fun ben! all i did was get cold...but at least the guns ran perfectly (well, they ARE ak's! lol!).

Hey that little guy has the same rifle as me! Except his has a better scope.

And he probably shoots better than me.

I would assume, since his pops is smart enough to have safety glasses on him, little guy has ear plugs in v. using what I assume are the adult ear muffs that are next to him.
