Hello!

I moved to the free state of Arizona and want to buy a video poker machine.  I specifically want one of those Jacks-or-Better inside-the-bartop machines.

Any suggestions?  Good dealers?  Got one for sale?

Thanks!

Mike

I know my co-worker pick one up off an auction.. i think ebay, and his father bought his from a local bar. He just asked the bar tender if he wanted to sell it and made him an offer.

Hmm.  I know that they are on eBay, but under their rules they can only take tolkens and not coins.  Hopefully that's enforced like the ban on high caps ("umm, eBay says I have to tell you this is a ten round magazine...") but for $650.00 the silly thing had better take quarters.  [:)]

I'll poke around some more.  Thank you for the info!

In some states (Like Cali of course) they are illegal, the slot machines in Cali have to be something like 100 years old before they can be legal, if your really interested in the real thing they have stores in Downtown Vegas here that sell gaming machines, but be careful cause if it malfunctions you need to be a certified genius to get it working again. If you thought the new Japanese car engines were confusing wait till you see a video poker machine!

Not quite- in California they only need to be at least 25 years old.  [:)]  But I do get your point.

You know, I had no idea how tightly restricted those things were until I looked at a legality chart.  A newer made (10 or so years old) video poker machine is actually illegal in 78% of the country!  It's easier to buy a machinegun, aw, or highcaps than a video poker machine.

We need another amendment.  [:D]  Then again, the liberals will probably just require licensing and reel fingerprinting and.....

Nice store in a shitty neighborhood!

No inside-the-bar-top machines advertised, tho...  [:(]

Thanks,

Mike

I would take that chart with a grain of salt. Slot machiens are only legal in Virginia for "entertainment purposes". As in not for gambling.....
