No such thing as a Pre-Ban Mini 14 unless you have a [b]GB model[/b] or you can prove you had it in assault weapon configuration before the ban & good luck, the proof [b]IS[/b] on you because [b]it is not a weapon that was affected by the ban.[/b] The serial # list you are looking for means nothing. [/flame suit] I laugh every time I see an ad in the paper advertising a "preban mini 14" for a premium price. Ask the guy who is selling it if it has a suppressor,folding stock,bayonet lug. He will say NO but its still a preban. LOL what fools. |

You don't. If you want to avoid any possible trouble.
Your a few years too late. The solution is to get a GB or a verifiable Preban AR. Many people put on the folders. But if you are asking for good advice, I would say dont do it. If it does not look like this then I would say not to put a folder on it. This is a GB model and it came from Ruger just like you see it. note the factory bayo lug and suppressor. any serial range on the GB, is that a bayo lug? cause every Mini-14 i have ever seen looks like the non folder.

Look closer it has a FACTORY lug & suppressor.
