Hey Lordtrader, this is my idea.

1- Post a picture of yourself (decent, normal looking as you would be in front of a girl) and all the guys here should ask their wives what impression they have at first site and post it here. (this is not a joke)

2- Since there are so meny guys from Tx here why not try to do a get-together and meet girls in this way. The locals know how the things go around and while among them you would be taken as a local as well.

At lease I'm trying to help you, not make fun of your situation.

Sounds like a good idea to me. I don't know about everyone else's opinion, but after being screwed over by several women, I've either learned my lesson or something has kicked in. Always wanted a good looking woman, I mean REAL BAD, and now that I got one, it doesn't seem to matter to me that much. Guess it's that situation where you always want what you can't have.

You can only eat so many blue M&M's before you want a red one!

Here's an idea. Start puttin so much money away a couple times a week, like money you would have spent on a date or flowers, etc. In a few months when you have a couple hundred racked up, you might realize it's not so bad.

One last idea, get a new hobby. When me and my buddy rode our horses into town (we live in southern IL), through the DRIVE THROUGH of a fast food place, we had 2 cars follow us to get our phone #'s. And another chick just stopped her car and got out and started talking to us, she was probably one of the hottest girls I've ever seen in that town. If riding horses isn't your thing, try motorcycles. I bought a CBR 600 F4i, and most women will definately turn their heads when they see a sportbike. Those things are so fast and fun to ride, you'll forget you are chasin girls and just have a great time riding.

Thanks for the offer Ed, but been there and done that. When I firs got here to TX. I join Match.com, AmericanSingles.com, a local singles club. Never got inquiries on my profile and all of the e-mails I sent out were never returned.

I did manage to go out on 2 dates from the Dallas Singles place. One was a beast. I think she put here H.S. pic on her profile. The other one wasn't bad looking. However, after 4 dates, she stopped returning my calls. [:(]

That Sir is sheer GENIUS!
I've recently come to a conclusion that is similar but does not reflect the mastery of life that your post shows.

Too much pressure to only date the right one results in dating no one, so date!

Buck up LordTrader, the holidays are the crappiest time of year for us single guys. Today to chase away some of the blues I went out for boom therapy. Take out the guns and go shooting. boom boom boom boom. Ahhhhhhh much better.
