I don't understand how it can be a little off...If you custom build a safe you tell them what you want inside ..either a plain hard shell or add additional features and items..

Seemed like an advertisement. Looks legit?
That is a nice ass safe! |

Looks like north of $3000 Much less, which is why my suspicion factor is high. your suspicion should not be high..if you build it yourself ..you should know whats inside of it..You would be amazed the amount of mark up that big safe companies use to have customers like yourself and the rest of the public over spend on something that is worth hundreds of dollars less than it should be |

This is not an ad..if you copy and paste the youtube link ..you can see that I am a consumer like yourself

That thing wouldn't hold enough of my guns to make any price worth the effort of moving it in.

18 moving bolts is a recipe for mechanical trouble. if the door is stiff enough, you don't need a lot of bolts. check out a jeweler's safe -- how many bolts are there? ar-jedi |

This thread is a steaming pile of dog shit after the dog ate a pan of my wife's tuna casserole.

It appears the hinge-side bolts are active bolts. Assuming you specified that feature, why?

Hmmm....I smell ..bait fish.
Very happy with my Amsec BF6636... |

Have fun with that shitty Securam LOCK. I had one on a cannon safe. It crapped out in 10 months of owning it. It took them over a month to fix it and in the mean time everything inside was held hostage.

Sorry to hear that your securam failed on you so soon..i decided to give them a chance because my previous la gard digital lock crapped out on me in 5 months..As for the jewelers safe..if you feel like spending 10k-20k on TL15 or TL30x6 rated safe..you best lock your jewelery and 100s of thousands of dollars in a safety deposit box at your local bank..remember any safe can be broken into..its just a matter of time and the amount of noise that the theif will make..I don't own a pawn shop nor a jewelery store ..that would be a different level of security when you start talking TL Rated safes..

Department of Justice Approved View Quote i believe that is just for CA, and for some FFL applications. nevertheless, the stipulations are not exactly strict: http://oag.ca.gov/firearms/gunsafe incidentally, does that RSC have a UL fire rating, or just the manufacturer's statement? ar-jedi |

I had to shut off the video when I spotted you shirtless and in your boxers in the safe reflection.

Would never buy anything that said Homeland Security on it.... Second, IN for the ad that's about to be locked

Price is in the video.
If you watch he shows you an itemized list. It's not bad as far as high end gun safes go. |

View Quote I would not call it a really bad safe but I am not so sure I would call it a high end safe at all. After watching the guys youtube video I came across with the thinking that this guy did not do enough research into gun safes at all. I have seen this so many times on gun safe threads. The safe is okay in the general way of gun safes but I don't think it's at the hype level he thinks it is. |

sorry for the late reply..the cost i paid to my zip code was around $2200..everybody price will be different depending on where you live and what you add or take out when custom building your safe with them....I am not a sales guy .just another consumer like yourself doing a review of my purchase..if you don't like my review ..I advise you not to look at my thread...my review was based on value quality and security when purchasing your custom built gun safe..My safe should also not be rated again a TL15 or TL30 safe..those safes have a different type of security level to protect high dollar items like jewelry and lots of money using 1-2inches of steel all the way around with a stainless steel liner to protect it again torch attacks..you would find a TL30 rated safe in a pawn shop or jewelry store and they cost between 10k to 20k for a good one..If you find one for 5k I suggest you buy it if you have the money |

Please stop saying stuff like this. Here's a 6434 TL30x6 for 5.5k. TL30x6. And here's a TL30 that will accommodate a standard A2 AR15 rifle for 2.2k. |

There are deals if you look. I picked up a Fort Knox Gaurdian 6031 for $1600 delivered, but that was a few years ago.
|
|
If I had spare cash (and a place to put it), I'd buy a sturdy safe tomorrow and never look back
