Don't know about your area, but here they have to have court ordered paperwork posted on the door of your residence which includes a writ of restitution

Some legit, some not. Spammers get them from crawling the web, buying lists from other spammers, etc. Every time they compromise a mailbox, guess what happens to its contact list?
