Pony, I don't want to get to personal but are you sure she wants a shotgun for Christmas? If she wants to hunt and needs a gun you might want to buy her one after Christmas. I'm not trying to bust your balls but I have been married for thirty years and I might be wrong but a shotgun might not be the best present. I know she might need one and if she does you should buy her one but something a little more personal might be better for Christmas. Just food for thought. I'm just looking out for you. MIKE.

Hey man I appreciate you looking out for me! But my wife wants a couple of guns, so WTF why not right? It's not the only thing I'm getting for her though. A couple of J.D. Robb (Nora Robberts) books, a text book for class (she asked for it), and probably some jewelry. The shotgun just came to mind the other day. I told her that I wanted to take her upland bird hunting and to shoot some clay pigeons one day. Her response was "when do we go"? Seeing as how hormonal she is at the monent (gotts love ma nature!) I think I'll hold off...must hit submit now, she's reading over my shoulder!

Well now that we got that out of the way let's buy some guns. I have taught hundreds of people to shoot clay birds. My new favorite shotgun for kids and woman is the Remington LT-20, 1100 youth 20 gauge. 21" barrel, synthetic stock, no recoil, short stock, screw in chokes, about $450.00. Merry Christmas, MIKE.
