Worth it? Anybody had it done to their rifle?

I don't have it on a rifle, but I do have two S&W .44 mag revolvers that came that way from the factory.  They are not the S&W "Power Port", but the done-in-Michigan Magna-Port.  It is highly effective in preventing muzzle rise and directing the recoil straight back.  This lessens perceived recoil.  I like it.

I have a Jarvis barrel on my USP .40 that's Magna-Ported. They do an excellent job and it will make a difference.
