OK, what gives?????  I was a member of the "old" board....been away for a few months.  Go to sign on again, but their's no record of either my name or e-mail address anywhere?

Since nobody has said this (to you, on THIS thread) yet - this is an entirely new board, not just a facelift of the old. This actually started out as an experimental board running concurrent with the old. The old board broke - this one had to step up and take over full time.
Everybody had to start over as newbies, some even changed their name. One example is the GlockCop's best friend now goes by Werd.
Dig up some old threads and you will doubtless learn more.
