Last Friday we saw enough sleet and freezing rain that central Texas shut down. It was definitely a Winter day.  Saturday was like an early Spring day with temperatures in the 60s. Sunday saw bright sunshine with a high around 75 degrees. Monday started cooling down again, like a typical Fall day. This morning around 3:00 AM the freezing rain began again.

There is an old saying here, "If you don't like the weather in Texas, wait five minutes it will change."

A good friend of mine sent a picture that pretty much sums it up.
