Yeah umm you wouldn't see me standing there. That said as long as they volunteered to stand there, who cares.

If it wasn't for the Dutch army there would have been no media.
Sometimes I wish these soldiers would just turn the cheek when these idiots are at risk. |
|
Bah, easy to set up stunt,
and it stopped with a good 10 feet to spare. |
|
could of been one of those "play stupid games" but it worked out this time
|
|
Fucking stupid for sure. But I lol'd at the 3 pussies who had to look back.

Of a tank coming to full stop. Fucking scumbag media is all in 'outrage' mode. While I might not be the smartest move I feel it is for the army itself to asses the risk and bitch about it. why does anyone care, how does this even make the news
pussy liberal media, that's how |

Hard to believe it took only 4 takes to get that right. On a side not, the Dutch military has 69 new openings for anyone interested in joining up.

I was waiting for a muzzle brake test. Seriously........I thought the tank was going to fire a round off with those dudes under the muzzle. That would have been awesome!!!!!!

No different in my opinion to sky diving, bungee jumping or human wing suit flying.
It was a calculated risk, coupled with faith in a mechanical object performing as designed and a little luck. I bet the thrill / elation for those standing there was off the charts when they realized they survived. |

I wouldn't do it but tanks can stop quickly. It be a function uh dat surface area of the tracks an dat friction, yo.

It has been many years ago, but the last time I was on your side of the pond I got to drive from Trondheim to Stockholm via Lillihammer and Oslo, and I didn't see much "tank country". Between the steep terrain and heavy forests in the highlands, and the wet, marshy ground riddled with ponds, lakes and streams in the lowlands it would seem like a tankers nightmare to me. |

I wouldn't think that part of the world would be big into tank warfare, at least locally? The south of Sweden is fairly open, especially Scania. In other parts of the country tanks would be used to cut off certain choke points, primarily between lakes that restrict enemy movement. The Finns would operate in pretty much the same way. |
